One of the priorities at BEJOT is to create furniture according to the rules of ergonomics*. Research in this field is conducted by competent institutions, such as the Rehabilitation Clinic of Karol Marcinkowski's Academy of Medicine in Poznań or the Institute of Work Physio-logy and Ergonomics at Professor Jerzy Nofer's Institute of Occupational Medici-ne in Łódź, and it confirms that armchairs and chairs manufactured by BEJOT are user-friendly and completely safe. Acco-rding to experts who tested our products from the point of view of ergonomic-physiological properties, they may be used by people whose work affects the spine as it requires a fixed body posture to be maintained for a long time.
The implemented structural solutions assure the physiological positioning of the spine during sitting, protecting it from strain and deterioration. When it comes to people suffering from pain-related ailments, the products do not cause negative changes, and at the same time they protect against such development. These basic advantages allow some of BEJOT's products to function as furniture for prophylaxis and rehabilitation.
Thanks to the well-planned structural solutions, which were designed with the customers' health and comfort in mind, as well as the range of equipment, the user can adjust the chair to their individual body size, work specifics, preferences or needs. An important ele-ment in modern armchair ergonomics is the

implementation of synchronic mechani-sms which allow the chair to imitate the user's body movement, reduce muscle and spine pressure, as well as adjust the set height and angle of elbow-rest.
The care for allowing clients to take optimal advantage of using BEJOT's furniture is also expressed in the sele-ctive choice of resources and compo-nents used in production. Focusing on the highest quality of materials makes it necessary to train distributors, both Polish and foreign ones. Most of the companies BEJOT cooperates with ma-nufacture their products in compliance with ISO standards. The individual elements and resources used by BEJOT to manufacture furniture, e.g. swivel chair mechanisms, steel elements, elbow rests, paints and lacquers, fabrics and upholstery materials, adhesives and anti-adhesive agents, were attested and their quality certificates were issued by foreign (e.g. CATAS, TUV, LGA, IQNet) and Polish (e.g. the Institute of Knit-wear Techniques and Technologies from Łódź, the State Hygiene Institute) insti-tutions.
