The beginning of the company now known as BEJOT dates back to 1984. That summer in Mosina, a factory specializing in wooden articles, construction materia-ls and wooden lamp components was created.
The first armchairs, designed for waiting rooms and reception halls, left the pro-duction facility in 1991. It was then that Dariusz Wilk was appointed the compa-ny's manager.
In 1992, the plant's name was changed. During the next 10 years the armchairs and chairs were created in a company called B.J. "Meble" Jerzy Semeniuk (the letters "B" and "J" are initials of the first owners - Barbara and Jerzy). Operations in the following years included adding to the offer more metal-based products as well as swivel chairs and armchairs.
The gradual expansion of the company resulted in early 1995 in the production and administration moving to a new location, which is still nowadays in Ma-nieczki.
That year, the company had its exhibi-tion debut at the International Trade Fair in Poznań , which from then on became one of the key methods of promoting the company.
In 1996, the first swivel chairs were added to the offer, and a year later the company presented its products at the foreign fair in Moscow for the first time.

The company's breakthrough moment was its participation in the prestigious Orgatec fair in 2000 in Cologne, an eve-nt during which leading companies of the office furniture sector present their pro-ducts.
A year later, the company became a dis-tributor
of office chairs manufactured by Sedus.
In spring 2002, the firm's legal form changed. The company's full name is: "BEJOT" Jerzy Semeniuk Dariusz Wilk General Partnership. The name change resulted in a change of company's logo as well. During the same year, "Bejot" was among exhibitors at the Orgatec fair in Cologne again. The company's dyna-mic expansion and sales growth allowed a decision to be made to extend the production facility. In 2004, two new halls were built: production and storage, which increased the company's produc-tion power. In 2005, construction of the new office building began. Concern for the optimal quality of the products is combined with particular attention to the esthetic aspect. That is why "Bejot" cooperates on an everyday basis with world-famous designers from Poland, Italy, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, and Germany.
